A Few words from my Friends & Family
My Crazy Friend…A Sports Personality…A Challenge Seeker…Passionate Ashish…The Untiring Runner
He made Kasodekar family proud ! - Ashish has always been a dedicated person. Whatever he decides to do, he does it with full concentration and sees it through. He developed an interest in sports since childhood, playing basketball, cycling, and later embracing running. It deeply concerned me, but he completed the marathon through his hard work and divine blessings. Running full marathon each day for two months (60 days) on the Pune University campus, he earned a place in the Guinness Book of World Records. I vividly remember the 60th day, swelling with pride as he not only made me proud but also brought recognition to our family. Being congratulated alongside him brought tears of joy to my eyes. As a mother, seeing her child succeed is all I could ask for, and I truly appreciate his persistence. I thank God for giving me everything!

My Crazy Friend - He embodies the concept of 'positive thinking.' Always envisioning something better, he faces the future with positivity and courage -an outlook I find truly remarkable. The quality I admire is his perseverance. Once he sets his mind on something, he commits wholeheartedly to the venture. He's yet to disclose the secret of how he musters the energy for all these adventures.

A Sports Personality - Despite suffering from hallucinations, he crossed the finish line just 31 seconds earlier. The moment was emotionally overwhelming, and I cried in a corner—expressing concern, stress, and happiness. This emotional episode is etched in my mind forever. I will keep on supporting him in his next ventures as well. I feel proud that he is my brother. Best wishes for his future dreams.

A Challenge Seeker - Ashish found inspiration from a young spectator. This newfound motivation propelled him to cross the finish line a mere 31 seconds before the allotted time elapsed. After completing the race, he required oxygen support, but once he stabilized, a sense of relief washed over us. The entire episode was nothing short of a thrilling experience. Ashish demonstrated a deep understanding of his physical abilities, successfully overcoming an Achilles tendon injury. His victory secret lies in his self-developed skill of understanding his body and navigating obstacles with a positive attitude. This resilience is not a divine gift but a result of his personal development. Being around him, we gain insights into facing and conquering tough challenges.

An Amazing Experience - Watching Ashish complete 333K in Debring injury-free and in high spirits was a joyous moment. Determined not to relive his past hallucinations, he exhibited a resolute mind. While we ensured his nutrition and hydration were checked, his mental strength prevailed. Ashish during his gruelling 555K run, I gained confidence from his unwavering positivity and determination to reach Shanti Stupa on the final day of the race.

Amazingly Hasty Journey - The sense of accomplishment is truly unique, and Ashish became the first Indian to conquer this extraordinary feat. I take immense pride in having witnessed what an individual can achieve through unwavering determination and a positive mindset. I am truly honoured to count Ashish as a dear friend! It was for learning positivity and determination! It was for Ashish, who has been my friend for the last 20 years, to be a part of his tough journey and to give him mental strength.

The Untiring Runner - The person who cradles a grand goal finds unwavering support from his soul. At the zenith of achievement, the mind echoes, 'Press on! Recall, "Success is a journey, not a destination!"' This might be the dialogue within Ashish, propelling him from one adventure to the next. Immersed in the world of running, he likely converses with both mind and legs. "Hey buddies, weary?" he may ask, and the legs reply, 'Not a bit! Ready to shatter records. Vast horizons beckon, 'Come on, Ashish!'' Tuning into his legs, he forges ahead, a perpetual seeker of new endeavors.
